Straight up the inside - Sailing Ningaloo Reef
Sometimes the best parts of sailing aren't made of carbon fibre and multi million dollar technology. Take these two blokes in a wooden boat for example, on an epic adventure down the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. Sit back and live vicariously through these guys as they sail down the inside of Ningaloo reef in their 15ft Navigator. It's made of wood, and it's slow. But that exactly why it's so good. As they say 'No motor, no esky, no idea!"
With nothing but a couple of fishing rods, a surfboard and some camping supplies, they set off on the incredible waters surrounding the Ningaloo Reef. With an abundance of wildlife (including their dinner) to look at, plus some great waves on the outside. What more could you ask for on a weekend? Check it out to see a great example of why racing isn't the be-all-end-all of sailing!
