Nautor's Swan 115 - Elegance
Sleek, elegant and also pretty fast, the Swan 115 doesn't need gimmicks to make headlines. There are no hydrofoils, no canting keels, not even swiss-army-knife style stabilisers on Leonardo Ferragamo's 'Solleone'. Just good old fashioned craftsmanship.
Sure, it's probably also one of the most expensive yachts of all time, but when you see the images of inside 'Solleone' it becomes apparent why. Hand stitched leather, teak interior and carbon fiber hidden beneath almost every panel. She's also pretty large, with room for a couple of families and one of only four to be made. Rumoured to cost in the ballpark of 22 million dollars, there might only be four people on earth who can afford one, but it's always nice to dream...
Check out the footage of the first Swan 115 - 'Solleone' being launched earlier this year in Finland. Wondering what the name means? "Summer heat"...
