Look Inside a $10 Million Boat House and Lakeside Mansion

From a time where boats were hand built, and treasured...
If you had all the money in the world, where would you live? If your last name is Winn, and you'd made that money designing and building some of the classiest boats on the water, then changes are you'd live in a lake-side mansion on Lake Charlevoix in Michigan.

Now, Four Winns is a brand owned by some multi-national conglomerate, making everything from day cruisers to wakeboarding boats. Back then; the company specialised in bespoke wooden creations, hand crafted from start to finish and exclusively for those elite few who could afford them. It's that attention to detail that's lived in through the family boat house, now sold to a lucky new owner who hopefully has just half of the collection the Winn residence once housed.

Worth around $10 Million now, the 9000 square foot boat house sits on Lake Charlevoix in Michigan. It features 17 overhead cranes that can lift the boats over one-another, electrically adjustable dock height to match the individual boats and a fully featured workshop out the back.

The house itself caries on the theme, with Mahogany flooring and walls, huge glass windows looking out to the lake, and intricate detail throughout. Check out the photos below, and watch the video to see the boathouse in action.
