WA Fisheries purchases new long-range patrol boat
Western Australian Fisheries has recently launched a new 20m-long patrol vessel, the PV Houtman, in Geraldton. The new boat will be used to help monitor fish catches.
The PV Houtman will operate along the West Coast and the Gascoyne bioregions, as well as providing monitoring and compliance services at the Abrolhos Islands and for the rock lobster industry.
