Spearfishing on Redonda Island with Elayna and Riley

Elayna & Riley are two young Aussies who bought a yacht called La Vagabonde in Italy, and are sailing around the world. Along the way, and to fund their trip, they're making highly entertaining video blogs to document their adventure, and this episode was all about spearfishing in Redonda. Hunting Lionfish, considered somewhat of a pest in the tropics, with a speargun is pretty tame as far at the sport goes. The docile little fish will quite happily swim right past your spear before Whammo! You've got 'im. Abundant around the tiny island of Redonda, which apparently used to be home to at least a post offive, the Lionfish are considered to be decent eating fish. As long as you cut off the 13 needle-like spikes, plus the additional pointy bits on the fishes underbelly, you're good to add a little butter and garlic before cooking it up for dinner. Well, a snack.... The hilarious (and very, very typical Aussie) commentary from these two make their videos worth subscribing to, and aside from the action shots of the pair fishing and cooking up their catch, the scenery is great too.
