NSW trout season opens
Following the end of the annual spawning period NSW' trout season kicked off on October 2.
Anglers and fish both benefit from the four month closure which allowed trout to travel upstream to breed. As well as that the rivers and streams have also benefited from fish stocking with over 2.5 million rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout and Atlantic salmon released across NSW last season.
Don't forget to grab a NSW Recreational Fishing Fee receipt before you fish this trout season, and if you're looking for some new gear to hit the streams and lakes with check out the new range of lures from HRT Lures which are killing the pig on Tassie trout at the moment or grab yourself some Seabreeze sunnies to help cut down the glare and spot those trout.
