One of QLD’s biggest and longest running fishing events is about to kick off this weekend, with an exceptional forecast and giant boat-loads of prizes on offer.

It’s a family fishing contest that’s been providing a great weekend on the water since 1996, and this year the 20th Annual Boyne Tannum hookup will be doing the same with special guest Ernie Dingo and Dave the Barefoot Fisherman. There’s 10 boats up for grabs (yeah, 10!!!!) including a hard top Haines Signature 602F and 8 SeaJay Anglers for the junior and senior divisions. Other prizes from a giant list of sponsors brings the total to $300,000 in both cash and prizes to win, so what are you waiting for!

Entries are still open for the week leading up to the event, or just go down and watch the crab racing and presentation at the Tannum Pub from 2pm on Sunday arvo!
